If you want to be in the middle of the action, visit Naples Pier Beach, famous with tourists and locals alike. Or check out Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park for a quieter day with plenty of wildlife and undeveloped shoreline.

There are several interesting and educational museums right here in Naples, and since their exhibits are inside in the air conditioning, it’s a great opportunity to get out of the house and the sun.

Naples’ Depot Museum is a restored passenger train station with interactive exhibits that are fun for kids.
