Winter Season Event Roundup: What’s Happening Now In Southwest Florida
The winter season is in full swing here in Southwest Florida, and there’s no shortage of events and happenings you don’t want to miss! Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite annual events that are going on between now and Easter.
Garden Nights – Naples Botanical Gardens
Every Wednesday, from 5-8pm until March 25th, the Naples Botanical Gardens stays open late. Visitors can take in a breathtaking sunset, stroll the gardens, and even take their dog for a walk on March 4th. For tickets and more information, visit the garden website.
Naples Craft Beer Festival
The Naples Craft Beer Festival is March 7th from 12-4pm at Bayfront on Naples. The festival will feature craft beer from around the world, as well as food from local restaurants and chefs. 100% of proceeds are donated to charity, and tickets must be purchased in advance here.
Art in the Park
Since 1957, Art in the Park, presented by Naples Art has featured work from local artists, set in beautiful downtown Cambier Park. The juried art show and sale occurs on the first Saturday of every month during the winter season, within upcoming dates on March 7th and April 4th. Learn more here.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade On 5th
If you like parades, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on 5th can’t be missed. A 40 year tradition, the parade is now the largest privately funded parade in the state of Florida, and all funds raised are donated to local high school music programs and educational scholarships. Marco Island Seafood & Music Festival
Enjoy 3 full days of nonstop fresh seafood, refreshments, live music, more than 60 arts and crafts, and a kids zone on beautiful Marco Island! Now the largest event on Marco Island, the festival happens this year from March 20-22 at Veterans Park, and single and multi-day tickets are available at the gate. Learn more here.
Naples Downtown Art Show
Stroll down Fifth Avenue South and enjoy a juried art show, ranked #34 Sunshine Artist magazine’s 100 Best Classic & Contemporary Craft Shows list. A favorite for enthusiasts and collectors, this year’s art show is March 21-22 from 10am-5pm. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated and benefit the Naples Art Association. Learn more here.
For the Love of Art at Naples Art
A popular annual event for art lovers, this year’s pop-art-themed dinner takes place in The Factory, Andy Warhol’s New York City studio, reimagined at Naples Art. After dinner, the party keeps going at Studio 585 with music, dancing and of course, art. Tickets are available here.
